Ambition: New conceptualizations of climate friendly products and processes and experimentation in fostering a natural oriented disruptive technology for a Green Made in Italy approach. The spoke will conceive material building blocks supporting “dematerialization” and biological transformation of Italian 3A craftmanship, start-ups, SMEs and LEs: win-win is the challenge of the future!

Objectives

Validation in laboratory of: Smart, functionalized, nanostructured, and sustainable materials; Bio-based materials and processes.
Evaluation of end of waste, metrics, and indices for circularity.
Proof of concepts of circular technologies for sustainable Made in Italy.

Development of smart, functionalized, nanostructured, and sustainable materials:

Smart materials, functionalization, and surface treatments;
Nanostructured materials;
Sustainable polymers and composites and critical raw materials (iv) Precious metals and metallic alloys advanced recycling.

Development of bio-based materials and processes, End-of-Waste and metrics for circularity:

Bio-based materials and advanced processes;
Scraps, wastes and bio-wastes from furniture and textiles for circular AM;
End-of-waste for new circular materials;
Metrics and circular industrial index.

Development of circular technologies for sustainable Made in Italy:

Sustainable materials and green technologies for Made in Italy industries;
Soft robotics;
Augmented safety and sport equipment.
